Donald G. Foot, Jr. – President & CEO

Mr. Foot is a Metallurgical Engineer with 32 years of experience in mineral processing, project management, software development, business development, and corporate management, from small entrepreneurial businesses to large corporations. He has successfully managed three start-up ventures in the mineral processing and advanced process control industries and holds numerous patents and technical publications to his credit. Mr. Foot is a recognized leader in the advancement and general worldwide acceptance of column flotation technology. Mr. Foot holds a degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Engineering Administration from the University of Utah.

Mr. Foot has been a member of the Society of Mining Engineers for 35 years and was awarded the Young Engineer Award. He also received the federal Executive Association Outstanding Young Engineer and the Ronald Reagan Gold Medal for Business. Mr. Foot has been active in the community and with the University of Utah serving as the Chairman of the Board of the Crimson Club, Major Gifts Chair for Kingsbury Hall, the Board of The Presidents Club Committee, and on the University of Utah Coordinating Council. In addition he has served on the boards of the National Experienced Based Career Education Association, Salt Lake City School Volunteers, and was a delegate to the U.S. Figure Skating Association.


Annjanine Freeman Etzel – Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Etzel is the CFO of Palladon Ventures Ltd. and Palladon Iron Corporation. Ms. Etzel holds a B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from the University of Utah, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah College of Law, where she was Associate Editor of the Journal of Contemporary Law and the Journal of Energy Law & Policy. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an Attorney with over 22 years of experience in both the financial and legal fields. From 1985 to 1995, she worked with Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she was a Tax Manager. Since 1995 she has had a private tax and accounting practice. She is a member of the Utah State Bar Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. She is active in community service, where she has served on The University of Utah Crimson Club Board, Rowland Hall-St. Mark's School Board of Trustees, Holy Cross Hospital Planned Giving Board, Salt Lake Estate Planning Council and the Children's Dance Theatre Board. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Tanner Dance Advisory Board at the University of Utah.


Darrel Twede - Chief Operating Officer & Chief Technical Officer

Mr. Twede recently retired from FLSmidth Minerals, formerly known as Eimco where he was a project manager for the last 15 years with projects in Asia, South America, and the United States. Prior to his employment at Eimco, he worked at Evans & Sutherland in Salt Lake City as Program Manager where he managed domestic and international multi-million dollar programs in the simulation industry. He was employed at Kennecott Copper as a control systems engineer in the development of control systems in Kennecott’s operation. Mr. Twede received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah, and is a past member of Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) Honor Society, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the Instrument Society of America (ISA). He received his Professional Engineer License in 1969 from the state of Utah.
